Django Developer

We are on a mission to help growing companies manage their core operations digitally and efficiently. Role Overview: We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Django Developer to join our core product development team. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build scalable and user-friendly features for our rapidly evolving SaaS platform. Responsibilities: • Design and implement robust, scalable backend systems using Django and Django Rest Framework. • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with Angular or React based interfaces. • Work on database schema design, performance optimization, and migration strategies. • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architecture discussions. • Debug production issues and provide timely fixes. • Implement third-party integrations such as biometric devices, email/calendar services, and payment gateways. Requirements: • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Django & Django REST Framework. • Proficiency in PostgreSQL or MySQL. • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC, and REST principles. • Familiarity with Git workflows, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with Celery, Redis, and background task management is a plus. • Knowledge of API security, performance optimization, and caching strategies. • Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile team environment. Good to Have: • Experience in multi-tenant SaaS architecture. • Familiarity with frontend frameworks Angular is a bonus. • Exposure to Kubernetes or AWS (EC2, S3, RDS) is a big plus. • Previous experience building ERP/HRMS/CRM or similar systems.
